Kumu Manu is scheduled* to teach a 3-hour intensive workshop introducing the history, cultural foundations, and structural mechanics of Lua—Hawaiʻi’s indigenous warrior system. Explore bone alignment, disruption of structure, close-precision, and the relationship between warrior discipline and natural law.
Lua is the Indigenous Hawaiian warrior science. Among the first structured Lua workshops to be offered in Brazil, this intensive workshop will cover the historical roots of Lua, its relationship to natural and spiritual law, foundational bone alignment, disruption of structural mechanics, joint manipulation, and close-range decisive control principles. Lua relies on precision and structure rather than size or force. More than a fighting method, fitness or competition, Lua is an indigenous system of embodied intelligence and responsibility of life and death.
