Kumu Manu joined Kumu Kekuhi Kane Kanahele Kanakaʻole for a special presentation
during the 63rd Annual Merrie Monarch Festival in Hilo, Hawai’i. ![]()
This rare public conversation explored the relationship between warrior and priestly knowledge specific to na wahine—the ways mana has traditionally been cultivated, carried, and directed through the body, voice, and spirit.
Together, they spoke from the intersections of chant, Hula, cosmology, and Lua—bridging sacred traditions. Some knowledge lives quietly for generations before it returns to public conversation.
